Rangers' Brassard out against Red Wings

Forward remains in New York because of flu

New York Rangers forward Derick Brassard won't play against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday (2 p.m. ET; NHLN, SN, MSG, FS-D) because of the flu, the team announced.
Brassard, who didn't practice Friday, did not travel with the Rangers.

He has 24 goals and 50 points in 66 games this season.
