Derek Brochu gets the winner as the Guelph Storm edge the Saginaw Spirit 3-1 @NHLdotcom

SAGINAW, Mich. - Derek Brochu scored the winning goal shorthanded in the thrid period as the Guelph Storm edged the Saginaw Spirit 3-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.

The other goals in the game were all scored on the power play, with Harrison Reed and Derek Brochu counting for Guelph (11-14-4-2).

Tomas Zaborsky replied for Saginaw (11-14-3-1).

Thomas McCollum made 21 saves for the Storm, while Ryan Daniels turned away 22 shots for the Spirit.
