Malgin agrees to one-year contract with Panthers

Forward was restricted free agent, had 16 points in 50 games last season

Denis Malgin agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Florida Panthers on Monday.

Financial terms were not released.

The 22-year-old forward, who was a restricted free agent, had 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 50 games with the Panthers last season.
Selected by Florida in the fourth round (No. 102) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Malgin has 48 points (24 goals, 24 assists) in 148 NHL games.
