Demers completes four-goal rally in OT as Ottawa edges Kitchener 5-4 @NHLdotcom

KITCHENER, Ont. - Julien Demers had the overtime winner to cap a four-goal rally as the Ottawa 67's edged the Kitchener Rangers 5-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday night.

Cody Lindsay, Ryan Martindale and Ryan Hanes scored three unanswered goals to force the extra period for Ottawa (32-22-7), while Tyler Toffoli had a power-play marker in the first. Goaltender Chris Perugini made 30 saves for the win.

Julian Cimadamore opened scoring for Kitchener (38-17-6), while Gabriel Landeskog, Jason Akeson and Dan Kelly gave the Rangers a 4-1 lead at the end of the second period. Brandon Maxwell stopped 26 shots.
