Del Cowan scores twice to lead Hitmen to 7-5 win over Hurricanes @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Del Cowan scored twice, including the winner to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 7-5 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes in WHL action on Tuesday night.

Brandon Kozun, Cody Sylvester and Kris Foucault each tallied a goal and two assists for the Hitmen (30-15-2). Misha Fisenko scored once and set up another, while Tyler Fiddler also scored for Calgary.

Mitch Maxwell notched a hat trick for the Hurricanes (15-26-5), who lost their third straight game and second in a row to the Hitmen. Austin Fyten had a goal and two assists, Philip Tot scored once, while Carter Bancks set up three Lethbridge goals.

Calgary goalie Martin Jones made 17 saves to improve his record to 18-9, while his Lethbridge counterpart Linden Rowat stopped 30 of 37 shots he faced at the other end.
