De la Rose signs entry-level contract with Canadiens

Jacob de la Rose, a 2013 second-round pick of the Montreal Canadiens, on Monday signed a three-year, entry-level contract that will begin next season. Financial terms of the contract were not released.

De la Rose, the 34th pick of the draft, had seven goals and 13 points in 49 games with Leksand in the Swedish Elite League this season. He also had three goals and three assists to help Sweden win the silver medal at the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship.
