DETROIT - Injured veterans Pavel Datsyuk and Kris Draper were back on the ice as the Detroit Red Wings skated on Friday to prepare for the Stanley Cup final.
Datsyuk, who missed the last three games of the Western Conference final with a foot injury, was not skating hard, however.
Draper missed the last two games of Detroit's conference final victory over the Chicago Blackhawks with a groin injury.
Star defenceman Nicklas Lidstrom, who is expected to return from an undisclosed injury when the Wings face the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday, was back skating with regular partner Brian Rafalski.
Missing from the skate was defenceman Jonathan Ericsson, who had an appendectomy this week.
