SAN JOSE -- Goaltender Darcy Kuemper, coming off a 32-save shutout of the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday, will start for the Minnesota Wild on Saturday against the San Jose Sharks at SAP Center (4 p.m. ET; FS-N, FS-WI, CSN-CA), coach Mike Yeo said.
Kuemper made 25 saves in a 2-0 shutout of the Sharks on Dec. 12 in San Jose, another factor that affected Yeo's decision.

Kuemper is 2-1-2 with a 2.40 goals-against average and .909 save percentage for his career against San Jose.
Martin Jones will start in net for the Sharks, San Jose coach Peter DeBoer said. He's 1-1-0 with a 0.76 GAA and .970 save percentage against Minnesota.
The Sharks play the Kings on Sunday night at SAP Center, but DeBoer said he has not decided whether Jones will start against his former team or backup Alex Stalock will start.
"It gives you a little more time," DeBoer said of the afternoon start Saturday. "It's definitely different than a 7:30 game and a 7:30 game. It's almost a half a day different. You're in bed earlier. So it definitely plays into it."
