Dansereau's hat trick propels Broncos to 4-2 victory over Medicine Hat @NHLdotcom

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Keegan Dansereau scored a hat trick, including the game-winner with 6:55 left in regulation, to lift the Swift Current Broncos to a 4-2 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday night in the Western Hockey League.

The Broncos now hold a 1-0 series lead in their best of seven Eastern Conference quarter-final series. Game two is in Swift Current on Saturday.

Dansereau, the Broncos' regular season leading scorer, scored his first goal of the game on a two-man advantage for Swift Current. He then scored the game-winning goal and added an insurance marker into an empty net with 36 seconds left in the third period.

The Broncos also had a goal from Taylor Vause. Tyler Ennis replied with both Medicine Hat goals in a game the Tigers led by 1-0 and 2-1 margins.

Broncos netminder Travis Yonkman earned the win in goal with a 36-save performance. Tigers goaltender Ryan Holfeld allowed three goals on 32 shots in the loss.
