Dansereau strikes for two quick power-play goals as Broncos edge T-birds @NHL

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Keegan Dansereau scored power-play goals 1:20 apart in the third period to lift the Swift Current Broncos to a 3-2 win over the visiting Seattle Thunderbirds.

Dansereau converted his team leading 14th and 15th goals of the season during back-to-back two-man advantage opportunities. Both goals were set up by defenceman Eric Doyle, who is now riding an 11 game point streak and leads the Broncos with 26 points.

Swift Current also had a goal from Matt Tassone.

Seattle had led 2-1 after two periods on goals from Thomas Hickey and Prab Rai, with his team-leading 14th of the season, on the power play.

Broncos overage netminder Travis Yonkman improved to 6-2 on the year after stopping 34 of 36 shots. Thunderbirds rookie goaltender Calvin Pickard is now 6-7-1-2 on the year after yielding three goals on 25 shots.

Swift Current ended a season-high five game losing streak and continued to hold down third place in the East Division at 15-10-0-0. Seattle fell to 9-13-1-2 while remaining fourth in the U.S. Division.
