Dansereau scores overtime winner as Hitmen beat Ice 5-4 @NHL

CALGARY (CP) - Keegan Dansereau scored at 2:43 of overtime to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 5-4 win over the Kootenay Ice in WHL playoff action Thursday night.

The win gives Calgary a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. The fifth game is scheduled for Saturday night in Cranbrook, B.C. Ryan White, Dylan Yeo, Dan Mercer and Steve Covington scored power-play goals in regulation for the Hitmen, who went 4-for-8 with the man advantage. Ian Duval and Michael Stone both added two assists.

Paul Kurceba, Mike Busto and Chad Greenan each had a goal and an assist for the Ice. Dustin Sylvester also scored while Ryan Russell and Steve DaSilva each had two assists.

Calgary goalie Dan Spence stopped 18 shots while Kootenay goalie Taylor Dakers made 27 saves.
