The Detroit Red Wings defenseman took a hard shot into the Tampa Bay Lightning zone late in the third period. It bounced off the glass and toward the goal, where Ben Bishop attempted to make a play on it, but the puck banked off the inside of his left leg and into the net.
FOX Sports Detroit announcers Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond could hardly believe it themselves, judging by the call.
It pulled the Red Wings within a goal with less than three minutes left, but Lightning forward Valtteri Filppula scored an empty-net goal just over a minute later to seal the 6-4 win.
