Daniel Erlich leads London Knights past Kitchener Rangers 8-5 in Game 1 @NHLdotcom

LONDON, Ont. - Daniel Erlich led the way with two goals and an assist as the London Knights took Game 1 of their second-round Ontario Hockey League playoff series, 8-5 over the Kitchener Rangers on Thursday.

Stephen Sanza, Chris DeSousa, Leigh Salters, Nazem Kadri and Jared Knight each had a goal and an assist for the Knights, while Colin Martin also scored. Steven Tarasuk added two assists.

Jeff Skinner scored twice for Kitchener, while Chris MacKinnon added a goal and three assists. Ryan Murphy had a goal and two assists, and Michael Catenacci also scored.

Michael Hutchinson made 28 saves for the win, while Brandon Maxwell stopped 25 shots in defeat.

Game 2 goes Friday in Kitchener, Ont.
