The Dallas Stars will open their season against the Nashville Predators at home Jan. 22.

Dallas' first four games were postponed. The NHL announced Jan. 8 that six Stars players and two staff members had tested positive for the coronavirus, their practice facility was closed and that Dallas would not start its season before Jan. 19.
The Stars returned to practice on Tuesday missing 14 players. That day, the NHL announced 17 players from the Stars had tested positive for the coronavirus, though most did not have symptoms and all were recovering without complication.
Dallas had been scheduled to play its first game at the Florida Panthers on Thursday. That game, as well as games at the Panthers on Friday and at the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday and Tuesday, have been rescheduled.
The game against the Panthers originally scheduled for Thursday is now scheduled for Feb. 22, and the game originally scheduled for Friday is now set for May 3. The games against the Lightning have been shifted to May 4 and May 10.

Florida at Detroit, originally scheduled for Feb. 21, is now scheduled for Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. ET.
Dallas at Florida, originally scheduled for Feb. 23, is now scheduled for Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. ET.
Buffalo at Pittsburgh, originally scheduled for March 27, is now scheduled for March 26 at 7 p.m. ET.
Boston at Washington, originally scheduled for April 11, is now scheduled for April 10 at 7 p.m. ET.
Pittsburgh at Buffalo, originally scheduled for April 20, is now scheduled for April 19 at 7 p.m. ET.
Florida at Tampa Bay, originally scheduled for May 4, is now scheduled for March 16 at 7 p.m. ET.
The NHL also announced the following start time changes:
Florida at Detroit, originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 19, is now scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
New York Rangers at Washington, originally scheduled for 5 p.m. ET on Feb. 21, is now scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
