Anaheim holds the first wild-card spot into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference, one point behind the Los Angeles Kings for third in the division. The San Jose Sharks are in second place, three points ahead of Anaheim.
The Ducks clinched their sixth consecutive Stanley Cup Playoff berth with a 3-1 win against the visiting Minnesota Wild on Wednesday.
The Ducks are 8-1-1 in their past 10 games, and 17-2-2 at Honda Center since Dec. 29.
Anaheim eliminated Dallas from playoff contention with a 4-3 overtime win against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday. Dallas has won three of its past four.

Players to watch

Stars forward Tyler Seguin has six points (one goal, five assists) in a four-game point streak. Seguin has 40 goals, one short of teammate Jamie Benn (2015-16) for the second-most in a season since the team moved to Dallas in 1993. Mike Modano scored 50 goals for the Stars during the 1993-94 season.
Ducks forward Andrew Cogliano has seven points (four goals, three assists)and is plus-6 in his past nine games.

Status report

Miller will make his second consecutive start in place of Gibson. ... McKenna, who will turn 35 on Wednesday, will make his 20th NHL start and first since Feb. 16, 2015, when he played with the Arizona Coyotes. Lehtonen left a 4-2 win against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday with a lower-body injury, but is available to back up McKenna, coach Ken Hitchcock said.
