Daine Todd scores twice to lead Medicine Hat beats Kootenay 5-3 @NHLdotcom

CRANBROOK, B.C. - Daine Todd scored twice to help the Medicine Hat Tigers stay alive with a 5-3 win over the Kootenay Ice in WHL playoff action Wednesday.

The Ice lead the best-of-seven series 3-1. Yashir Farmanara, John Stampohar and Brennan Bosch added goals for the Tigers. Steve DaSilva, with two, and Ben Maxwell had the goals for Kootenay.

Ryan Holfeld stopped 29 of 32 shots to get the win while Kris Lazaruk turned aside 32 of 36 shots in taking the loss.
