Daily Primer Nov. 11: A matinee and the Hall of Fame @NHLdotcom

The Tampa Bay Lightning will seek their fifth straight victory in the only game on the NHL schedule Monday, hours before five special people are inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Steven Stamkos (14 goals in 16 games) and the Atlantic Division-leading Lightning will try to continue their winning ways against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden (1 p.m. ET, NHLN-CA, SUN, NESN). Tampa Bay is two points ahead of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings and three ahead of the Bruins in the Atlantic. The Lightning opened a three-game road trip Saturday, when they earned a 3-2 overtime win against the Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena. Teddy Purcell scored the game-winner.

"We are extremely aware we're playing in tough buildings against really good teams," forward Martin St. Louis told the Lightning's website Sunday. "To start the road trip with a big win in Detroit is definitely a confidence booster. It was a big test, and we're just looking to have it carry over into [Monday] afternoon."

Boston will be searching for its third straight win. The Bruins are coming off a 3-1 win against the Maple Leafs at TD Garden on Saturday.

The Hockey Hall of Fame will host the 2013 induction ceremony Monday night. Chris Chelios, Geraldine Heaney, Scott Niedermayer, Brendan Shanahan and Fred Shero make up this year's class.

"It's a great year and a great group, but I would venture to guess that every one is," Niedermayer said Sunday. "Those two guys that I played against a fair bit in the NHL (Chelios and Shanahan) were two guys that I didn't like playing because they were fierce competitors and made it tough. What Geraldine has done for the women's game is pretty impressive. For Ray [Shero] to be here for his dad is pretty special. It is pretty amazing."
