Spend up for: Jonathan Toews, CHI ($6,700) -- The Chicago Blackhawks have a favorable matchup with the Vegas Golden Knights, who will be using a goalie making his first career NHL start, either Oscar Dansk or Maxime Lagace. Toews had two assists and 5.5 DraftKings points in his most recent game and has four points in four games on the road this season. The Blackhawks' offense is scoring more than 3.5 goals per game this season, making Toews a decent pick.

Value pick: Dylan Larkin, DET ($5,100) -- Larkin is tied for second on the Detroit Red Wings in points (nine) and is second in assists (eight). He has points in seven of nine games this season after his goals and points totals declined in each of the past two seasons. Larkin is averaging 2.0 SOG and 3.4 DraftKings points per contest and plays even better on the road with seven points in five games (4.3 DraftKings points) this season, and is a decent pick at this price at the Buffalo Sabres.
Spend up for: Filip Forsberg, NSH ($7,100) -- Generally a slow starter in terms of goal scoring, Forsberg has six in eight games to start the season. The Nashville Predators' leading scorer also has four power-play goals, five assists and 21 SOG. Forsberg has at least one point in six of eight games, including three multi-point games (5.0 DraftKings points per contest). He'll face the Calgary Flames on Tuesday, whom he has five goals in 10 career games against.
Value pick: Mark Stone, OTT ($5,400) -- Stone had his best game of the season for the Ottawa Senators (two goals, one assist, seven SOG, one blocked shots; 12 DraftKings points) in a 6-3 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. He was held scoreless in his previous two games, but Stone had four points in two games prior and has four multi-point games this season. Four of Stone's five goals have come at home, where he will be playing on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings.

Spend up for: Drew Doughty, LAK ($6,300) -- The Kings have scored 3.86 goals-per game, third in the League. Doughty has been one of the beneficiaries with seven points (three goals, four assists) in seven games. He's also had at least two blocks in six of eight games. Doughty (4.9 DraftKings points per contest) has contributed offensively and defensively this season, and Tuesday should be no different against the Senators.
Value pick: Hampus Lindholm, ANA ($3,900) -- The Anaheim Ducks defenseman will be making his season debut after having shoulder surgery during the offseason. Lindholm likely will be on the first pair and first power-play unit with Cam Fowler on injured reserve. Lindholm had 20 points (six goals, 14 assists, five power-play points) and 94 blocked shots last season. He is a low-risk, high-reward play against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Semyon Varlamov, COL ($6,900) -- On an 11-game night, you don't necessarily want to pick the most expensive goalie, but you obviously want one who can get a win. Despite the Colorado Avalanche goalie's success early this season, Varlamov, who is confirmed to start against the Dallas Stars, ranks 38th in price among goalies in the contest. True, he's lost his past two games, but he's 3-2-0 with a 2.21 GAA and .931 SV% and averages 6.0 DraftKings points per contest. Expect Varlamov to shut down the Stars offense.
