Note: These contests do not include the Colorado Avalanche-New Jersey Devils game at 2 p.m. ET.

Spend up for: Evgeni Malkin, PIT ($7,600) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins are looking to rebound after a 10-1 loss against the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday. Malkin, who had an assist in that game, has three assists and six SOG in two games. He's one of the most dynamic offensive players in the game and likely will figure in on a few of the Penguins' goals against the Nashville Predators on Saturday.

Value pick: Brayden Point, TBL ($4,200) -- Point may not have started the season on a line with Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov but that didn't stop him from producing in the Tampa Bay Lightning's season-opening 5-3 win against the Florida Panthers on Friday. He had three points (goal, two assists) with two SOG and one blocked shot. Point showed chemistry with Ondrej Palat, assisting on each of his two goals, and is a good pick against the Panthers on Saturday.

Spend up for: Patrik Laine, WPG ($7,000) -- Laine is tied for fifth in price among wings and is due for a big game. The Winnipeg Jets' star was very vocal following a season-opening 7-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs at home Wednesday. Although Laine had an assist, two shots on goal and was a plus-2, he will be motivated to score and help the Jets in their game against the Calgary Flames.

Value pick: Anthony Mantha, DET ($5,300) -- The value you can get from Mantha at this price makes him worth a pick. He had three points (goal, two assists) playing on a line with Dylan Larkin and Martin Frk in a 4-2 win against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. Mantha had two power-play points -- he earned three last season -- and could see an increased role with the Detroit Red Wings man-advantage unit beginning against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.

Spend up for: Victor Hedman, TBL ($6,100) -- Hedman is a popular pick for the Norris Trophy after finishing second at his position in points (72) behind Brent Burns of the San Jose Sharks (76) last season. Hedman also has at least 100 blocked shots in each of the past five full NHL seasons. He had an assist, three SOG and one blocked shot Friday and is a good choice to score against the Panthers on Saturday.

Value pick: Ivan Provorov, PHI ($4,400) -- In two games this season, Provorov doesn't have any points but has nine blocked shots and three SOG. He had 30 points (six goals, 24 assists) in 82 games during his rookie season with the Philadelphia Flyers and likely will chip in offensively from the back once again. Provorov's main source of points will be blocked shots with the offense being a bonus. Pick him against the Anaheim Ducks.

Top pick: Cam Talbot, EDM ($8,500) -- The Edmonton Oilers goalie is the most expensive at his position in the contest for good reason. He made 27 saves in a 3-0 shutout against the Flames on Wednesday and is in a good spot against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday. Vancouver scored 2.17 goals per game last season, second worst in the League. Talbot made 73 starts last season and allowed two goals or fewer in 42 games.
