Each day this season, NHL.com's fantasy staff will provide daily picks for DraftKings NHL contests. This article includes expensive and value plays and should be used as a basis for your roster decision-making.

TOP CENTER: Logan Couture, SJS ($6,400)
Couture has 12 points, six blocks and 24 shots on goal in his past 10 games for an average of 4.5 DraftKings points per game (season average: 3.6). He's centering the San Jose Sharks' second line with Patrick Marleau and remains on the first power-play unit with Brent Burns, Joe Pavelski and Joe Thornton. He had 5.5 DraftKings points against the Dallas Stars on March 12 and is in great position again with the Stars allowing the second-most DraftKings points to opposing centers.
VALUE CENTER: Dylan Larkin, DET ($4,300)
Larkin was a huge fantasy disappointment through his first 60 games (19 points) but is finishing the season strong with eight points in his past eight games. Since the Detroit Red Wings traded Thomas Vanek to the Florida Panthers prior to the 2017 NHL Trade Deadline, Larkin has seen greater responsibility (17:04 per game; season average: 15:56). He has power-play points in each of his past two games and DraftKings owners need not worry about his poor plus/minus (minus-27).

TOP WING: David Pastrnak, BOS ($7,000)
Pastrnak has the longest active point streak in the NHL (11 games) and is tied for the second-longest of the season behind Mikael Granlund of the Minnesota Wild (12). He has torched the Toronto Maple Leafs this season with four points and 15 SOG in three games. He's a high-floor option with eight straight games of at least four SOG and has at least 4.0 DraftKings points in 10 of his past 11. The Maple Leafs are allowing the fourth-most DraftKings points to opposing right wings.
VALUE WING: James Neal, NSH ($5,100)
Neal has at least 2.0 DraftKings points in nine of his past 10 games and at least 4.0 in five of them. He has totaled 31 SOG in his past 10 and appears due to score a goal against the Arizona Coyotes considering he has a combined seven SOG in two games against them. Despite being moved off the Nashville Predators' top line and seeing his category coverage dip as a result, he has still eclipsed 20 goals (21) and is closing in on 200 SOG (187). He has a high ceiling any given night in daily fantasy for such a low price.

TOP DEFENSEMAN: P.K. Subban, NSH ($5,300)
Subban has 17 points in his past 18 games, but one goal on 21 SOG in the span. The good news is the Coyotes are allowing the third-most DraftKings points to opposing defensemen and the second-most shots per game overall (33.7). Subban has a chance to cover points, blocks and have at least four SOG at home against this favorable opponent; he has one assist, three blocks and nine SOG in two games against Arizona (4.0 DraftKings points per game).
VALUE DEFENSEMAN: Jakob Chychrun, ARI ($3,200)
Chychrun has given fantasy owners a glimpse of his long-term fantasy upside by returning DraftKings value in four of his past five games. He was held without a point against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday but had stellar coverage (six SOG, two blocks) for a total of 4.0 DraftKings points. The Predators have scored 69 goals in 21 games since the beginning of February, but have also allowed 66, making it a sneaky strategy to get at least one Coyotes skater in your lineup.

GOALIE SPOTLIGHT: Cam Talbot, EDM ($8,000)
Talbot has at least 5.0 DraftKings points in each of his past four games (3-1-0). He stopped all 33 shots he faced against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday for his sixth shutout of the season. The Los Angeles Kings are allowing the third-most DraftKings points to opposing goalies and Talbot is 19-12-3 with a .918 save percentage at home. Talbot stopped 28 of 29 shots faced in a win against the Kings on Dec. 29 (7.6 DraftKings points).
