Dailey scores twice as Everett Silvertips down Portland Winterhawks 4-3 @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Zack Dailey scored twice, including the game-winner midway through the third period, and the Everett Silvertips defeated the Portland Winterhawks 4-3 Friday night for their 13th consecutive win.

The winning streak matched a franchise record, set during the 2006-07 season.

Shane Harper and Chris Langkow also scored for Everett (32-16-3), which moved five points ahead of Portland for second place in the U.S. Division. Kent Simpson earned the win in goal for Everett, making 27 saves.

Ty Rattie scored twice for Portland (30-20-2), while Chris Francis also tallied. Mac Carruth stopped 38 shots in goal for the Winterhawks.
