Curtis Hamilton has two goals, assist to lead Blades to win over Ice @NHLdotcom

SASKATOON - Curtis Hamilton had two goals and an assist and Jyri Niemi also scored twice as the Saskatoon Blades beat the Kootenay Ice 8-4 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

Jeremy Boyer had a goal and two assists for the Blades (3-2-2) while Walker Wintoneak, Burke Gallimore and Gaelan Patterson also scored. Sam Klassen and Derek Hulak each added three assists.

Brock Montgomery, James Martin, Kevin King and Steele Boomer replied for the Ice (3-5-0).

Adam Morrison made 28 saves for Saskatoon while Todd Matthews and Nathan Lieuwen combined for 21 stops for Kootenay.
