Cunningham's pair helps the Vancouver Giants rout Chilliwack 5-1
NHL.com @NHLdotcomCHILLIWACK, B.C. - Craig Cunningham scored twice as the Vancouver Giants put on another dominating performance, outshooting the Chilliwack Bruins 48-17 en route to a 5-1 victory on Friday night in the Western Hockey League.
Casey Pierro-Zabotel opened the scoring in the first period and added two assists for Vancouver (21-1-0-3). Lance Bouma and Jonathon Blum had a goal and an assist each.
David Robinson scored the only goal for the Bruins (9-14-2-2).
Tyson Sexsmith made 16 saves in the Giants' net, while Chilliwack netminder Mark Friesen stopped 43 shots.
