Cunningham scores shootout winner to give Giants 2-1 win over Blazers @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Centre Craig Cunningham scored the only goal of the shootout to give the Vancouver Giants a 2-1 Western Hockey League victory over the Kamloops Blazers on Friday night.

The Blazers (24-23-6) got a second-period goal from C.J. Stretch, while Tomas Vincour, on a late third-period power play, tied it for the Giants (30-19-1-2), who snapped a three-game losing skid.

Vancouver goaltender Mark Segal turned aside 32 shots, while Kamloops goaltender Kurtis Mucha stopped 31 throuth overtime.
