PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby said he was fine after briefly leaving Game 4 against the Washington Capitals on Wednesday following a slash on his left hand by Alex Ovechkin in the third period.
Crosby was angry as he left the ice, thrashing his stick against the wall as he walked down the tunnel. But he returned a few minutes later and was on the ice for the overtime goal by Patric Hornqvist that gave Pittsburgh a 3-2 win at Consol Energy Center.

The Penguins lead the best-of-7 series 3-1.
"I thought it was worse than it was," Crosby said. "I don't think it was anything other than that. Initially you think maybe you're not coming back, so it's not a great feeling, but I don't think there was any intention there. I'm trying to keep a puck in, and he's trying to make sure that I don't. He caught me there, but that's part of it. Whenever you win it's always a better feeling, there's no doubt."
Game 5 is at Verizon Center on Saturday (7:15 p.m. ET; NBC, CBC, TVA Sports).
