Crosby named one of's 'Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2009' @NHLdotcom
NEW YORK – For the third straight year, Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has been named one of's "Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2009." Readers of, the world's leading men's lifestyle web site, ranked Crosby #34 on the list of men who had influenced them the most throughout 2009.

Crosby and the Penguins captured the 2009 Stanley Cup Championship in a seven-game series against the Detroit Red Wings. Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final was the most-watched NHL game in 36 years.

The list assembles a diverse collection of men from around the world and from a variety of industries including entertainment, politics, technology, and sports. Fictional character Don Draper from the hit drama, "Mad Men," topped the list. Other notables on the list include U.S. President Barack Obama, rapper Jay-Z, actors Brad Pitt and George Clooney, and Los Angeles Lakers captain Kobe Bryant.
