extended his points streak to 18 games with an assist in the Pittsburgh Penguins
' game at Buffalo on Saturday.
Crosby earned an assist on Alex Goligoski
's goal at 12:09 of the third period, which gave the Penguins a 3-1 lead. Pittsburgh won the game 5-2, extending its winning streak to 12 games.
Crosby has 36 points -- 20 goals and 16 assists -- during the streak. It's the second-longest of his career, one behind his 19-game streak in October and November 2007. He had 30 points during that streak.
