Crooks scores eventual winner as Chilliwack Bruins drop Tri-City 4-1 @NHLdotcom

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Jamie Crooks second period goal stood as the eventual winner as the Chilliwack Bruins downed the Tri-City Americans 4-1 in Western Hockey League play Friday night.

Roman Horak and Dylen McKinlay had markers for Chilliwack (30-31-6), while Colton Grant added an empty-net goal as insurance. Lucas Gore made 31 saves for the win.

Johnny Lazo was the lone scorer for Tri-City (45-19-3), while Alexander Pechurskiy stopped 16 shots.
