PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Craig Cunningham scored the game-winner with 32 seconds left in the third for Vancouver as the Giants stormed back to beat the Prince George Cougars 5-4 in Western Hockey League action Friday.
Down 3-2 heading into the final period, Kevin Connauton scored six seconds in on the power play to tie the game.
After Brett Connolly helped Prince George retake the lead, Connauton's second of the night at 9:25 of the third knotted the game 4-4.
Mike Piluso and Garry Nunn also scored for Vancouver (17-8-3), while Cunningham added two assists.
Taylor Makin, Spencer Asuchak and Kurt Torbohm had the other goals for Prince George (4-19-2).
Mark Segal made 26 saves to pick up the win, while Hudson Stremmel stopped 39 shots in defeat.
