Coyotes without two top D-men

by Jerry Brown
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Coyotes were missing two of their top three defensemen for Tuesday night's game against Edmonton as both Adrian Aucoin and Ed Jovanovski sat out.
Aucoin, who skated Tuesday, missed his second straight game with a lower body injury suffered Nov. 19 at Edmonton. Jovanovski is out with the flu -- the third time since Oct. 17 he has missed a game with what was reported as flu-like symptoms.
The Coyotes recalled rookie Oliver Ekman-Larsson from San Antonio on Tuesday and will be playing two defensemen who were with the Rampage a week ago in Ekman-Larsson and Nolan Yonkman.
Phoenix came into the game looking for its seventh straight win and to extend their unbeaten streak in regulation to 10 games.
