Coyotes sign Richardson to three-year contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONAArizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed forward Brad Richardson to a three-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 30-year-old Richardson recorded 8-13-21 and 34 penalty minutes (PIM) in 45 games with the Vancouver Canucks in 2014-15. The 6-foot, 197-pound native of Belleville, ON has totaled 62-87-149 and 256 PIM in 509 career NHL games with the Canucks, Los Angeles Kings and Colorado Avalanche.

Richardson was originally drafted by the Avalanche in the fifth round (163rd overall) in the 2003 Entry Draft.
