Coyotes sign Ethan Werek @NHL
The Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday signed newly acquired center Ethan Werek to an entry-level contract. No financial terms were disclosed.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder appeared in 47 regular season games with Kingston of the Ontario Hockey League in 2010-11, scoring 24 goals and finishing with 52 points, along with 51 PIM. In 170 regular-season games with Kingston, Werek had 86 goals and 179 points with 202 PIM.

The New York Rangers drafted Werek in the second round (No. 47) in the 2009 Entry Draft. The Coyotes acquired him from the Rangers on May 8 in exchange for Oscar Lindberg.
