will look to start new winning streaks when they return to the ice as part of the NHL's 11-game schedule on Thursday night.
Phoenix (46-23-5) saw its nine-game run come to an end on Tuesday in a 2-0 loss at Chicago. Meanwhile, the Preds (42-27-5) had their six-game streak snapped the same night when they lost 3-1 at home to the Dallas Stars
. Phoenix and Nashville will collide at 8 p.m. ET at Bridgestone Arena.
At the same time the Coyotes and Preds face off, the Los Angeles Kings
will take on the St. Louis Blues
at the Scottrade Center. St. Louis is just 12-18-5 on home ice. Both teams are coming off losses on Wednesday -- Los Angeles fell 4-3 at Colorado in a shootout, while St. Louis lost 4-2 at Detroit.

at HP Pavilion. That showdown can be seen in the U.S. and Canada on the NHL Network. The Sharks return home after a six-game road trip that ended with a 4-1 win at Minnesota on Tuesday that snapped their six-game losing streak.
