Coyotes name Steve Sullivan as development coach @NHLdotcom

The Arizona Coyotes on Monday named Steve Sullivan as development coach, signing him to a multiyear agreement. No other terms were disclosed.

Sullivan, 40, played 16 seasons in the NHL, including 33 games with the Coyotes during the 2012-13 season.

He'll oversee Arizona's amateur player development in addition to working with coaches and players with the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes' American Hockey League affiliate, during the season.

Sullivan scored 290 goals and had 747 points in 1,011 NHL games with the New Jersey Devils, Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Blackhawks, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Coyotes.
