Max Domi has had the picture of
Wayne Gretzky
hanging in his room since he was a kid and now he's seen the story behind it.

The Arizona forward watched the footage of Gretzky signing the photo for the first time during a visit to NHL Studios on Wednesday.
His dad
Tie Domi
, who spent 16 seasons in the NHL with the Winnipeg Jets, Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers, got the autograph with a little help from former Rangers forward Adam Graves. Graves put the request in after the last game of Gretzky's career on April 14, 1999. Tie was a forward for the Maple Leafs at the time and Max was 4 years old.
Gretzky was all too happy to sign for "Tie's little guy," and now that Max is all grown up, he's got a new appreciation for an already cool gift.
