GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - The Phoenix Coyotes have opened another training camp with an uncertain future.
About 60 players arrived at Jobing.com Arena on Friday to go through physicals and fill out paperwork, getting ready to start another season without an owner.
The Coyotes have been through this three times now, so they're used to it, but they'd rather have the ownership situation, not to mention where they're going to play, cleared up.
The team had one potential owner back out earlier this year and stayed in the desert after the city of Glendale committed $25 million for the second year in a row to keep it in town.
The Coyotes didn't let the financial restraints hold them back, signing a series of new players in the offseason, including goalie Mike Smith.
