GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have acquired forward Joakim Lindstrom from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenseman Logan Stephenson. Lindstrom will join the Coyotes’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Lindstrom, 24, has recorded 7-14-21 and 33 penalty minutes (PIM) in 21 games this season for the Iowa Chops of the AHL, tying him for the team-lead in points. In 2007-08, Lindstrom split the season between the NHL and AHL, collecting 3-4-7 in 25 games for the Columbus Blue Jackets and recording 25-35-60 in 49 games with Syracuse. He established both NHL and AHL career-highs in goals, assists and points last season.
