Cowick has four points as 67's use strong third period to down the Petes 6-3

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Corey Cowick had two goals and two assists as the Ottawa 67's took control in the third period to beat the Peterborough Petes 6-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday.

Trailing 2-1 after 40 minutes the 67's (25-15-2-2) erupted for five goals, including three in a 2:32 span in the first three minutes of the third. Tyler Toffoli, Thomas Kiriakou and Logan Couture had goal and assist each for Ottawa while Riley Sonnenburg added a single.

Zack Kassian had a goal and assist for the Petes (18-26-0-2) while Tony Romano and Justin Larson also scored.

Chris Perugini made 31 saves for the win while Jason Missiaen stopped 36 shots in a losing cause.
