While the New Jersey Devils are getting a look at some new players this preseason, they also appear to be trying out some new ushers.

And at least one of the applicants already knows his way around the Prudential Center pretty well.
Goalie Cory Schneider went undercover Monday night at the Devils preseason opener and gave at least one lucky fan a brand new jersey.

The jersey recipient shared the story on Twitter, saying that he was told his jersey was "outdated" and that he needed a new one. He was then handed one signed by the Devils goalie.
Upon further review, it was Schnieder undercover. The getup was good, but the nametag, which read "Corey S." no, not Cory] was a dead giveaway. The Devils played coy about the gag.
