Corey Cowick scores the game winner as the Generals beat the Bulls 6-3 @NHLdotcom

OSHAWA, Ont. - Corey Cowick fired a snap shot through the legs of Edward Pasquale with 7:55 remaining in the third period to lift the Oshawa Generals to a 6-3 victory over the Belleville Bulls Sunday night in Western Hockey League action.

The goal was Cowick's fourth of the season.

Patrick Asselin scored twice, Brett MacLean added his league-leading 31st of the season and Brett Parnham and Shea Kewin also scored for the Generals, who improved their record to 16-8-1-3.

Matt Beleskey, Andy Self and Keaton Turkiewicz replied for Belleville (16-8-2-1).

The Generals went 2-for-4 on the power play, while Belleville was 0-for-4.

Jakub Kovar made 23 saves for Oshawa, while Pasquale made 20 for Belleville.
