Corbin Boes stops 43 shots to lead Wheat Kings over Prince Albert Raiders 4-1 @NHLdotcom

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Corbin Boes stopped 43 shots to lead the Brandon Wheat Kings over the Prince Albert Raiders 4-1 on Thursday in Western Hockey League action.

Michael Ferland, Eric Roy, Ryley Miller and Mark Stone each scored for the visiting Brandon Wheat Kings (12-6-2).

The Raiders' lone goal came from Raiders? co-captain Mark McNeill.

The power play was the difference-maker for Brandon, as they capitalized on two man advantages out of five.

The Raiders, however, went 0-for-4 on the power play.

Eric Williams made 32 saves for Prince Albert.

The Wheat Kings have a narrow one-point lead over the Saskatoon Blades for first place in the WHL?s Eastern Conference.

The Raiders (5-15-2) are firmly in the Eastern Conference basement.
