Connor McDavid and Brent Burns wanted to settle a beef and did it the old fashioned way: With a competition of carnival events.
The Edmonton Oilers captain squared off against the San Jose Sharks defenseman in a battle for shooting supremacy, and McDavid claimed victory in a three-event showdown in a series of ads for CCM.
The competition began with Burns and McDavid shooting at milk jugs, with the Oilers center both winning and sticking it to Burns with a consolation gift.
Next came shooting at plates, where Burns took the bragging rights, both by calling McDavid's shot and making him lose his popcorn.
But just as the Oilers earned victory against the Sharks in their Western Conference First Round series last season, McDavid reigned by dousing Burns in a dunk tank.
At least they both got to leave with some pretty sweet souvenirs.
