Combs has three-point night in Saginaw's 7-2 rout over the Ottawa 67's

SAGINAW, Mich. - Jack Combs lead the way with two goals and one assist as the Saginaw Spirit put on a dominating effort, outshooting the Ottawa 67's 48-19 en route to a 7-2 rout in Ontario Hockey League action Friday night.

Combs was one of six Spirit players with two or more points. Tyler Murovich, Joe Pleckaitis, Joe Underwood, Adam Comrie and Kyle Bochek scored single goals for Saginaw (11-6-0-0) who has won its last three games.

Mike Latta and Ryan Martindale had a goal and an assist for Ottawa (10-9-0-1).

Edward Pasquale stopped 17 shots for the Spirit, while Chris Perugeni and Adam Courchaine combined for 41 saves.
