Columbus Blue Jackets send five players down to AHL's Syracuse @NHLdotcom

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Blue Jackets made their second series of roster moves since the opening of training camp, assigning five players on Monday to their top farm club at Syracuse of the American Hockey League.

The moves put the current roster at 36 players, excluding injured forwards Alexandre Picard and Zenon Konopka.

Assigned to the Crunch were forwards Kirill Starkov, Adam Pineault and Geoff Platt, defenceman Mikko Maenpaa and goaltender Dan LaCosta.
