Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky was scheduled to start for the Columbus Blue Jackets but did not participate in the morning skate because of an illness, so Anton Forsberg will make his first NHL start of the season. Forsberg, recalled from Cleveland of the American Hockey League on Monday after Curtis McElhinney was placed on waivers, was 12-6-1 with a 2.16 goals-against average and .930 save percentage for the Monsters. "For [Anton], it's probably a good thing," coach John Tortorella said. "Don't think about it. He has a pregame skate and he's going to play." Goalie Joonas Korpisalo, who appeared in 31 games for the Blue Jackets last season, was recalled from Cleveland to serve as the backup. "Forsberg earned the spot," Tortorella said. "I think it's a good thing with the goaltending situation. Remember, Korpisalso was here for how many games last year? We made the call down there, they feel Forsberg is the guy right now. I think it's good for the organization that it's on merit here, as far as what he's done with that team, and he deserves the opportunity."
