Colton Grant scores twice as Medicine Hat beats Portland 5-3 @NHL

PORTLAND, Ore. - Colton Grant scored two goals to help the Medicine Hat Tigers defeat the Portland Winter Hawks 5-3 in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

The Tigers (20-9-3-3) also got goals from Brennan Bosch, Mark Isherwood, and Jace Coyle. Coyle, also had an assist, and scored into an empty net to seal the win.

Portland (8-24-1) got power play goals from Travis Ehrhardt and Radim Valchar, and from Brett Ponich at even strength.

Tigers goalie Ryan Holfeld made 31 saves for the win, while Kurtis Mucha stopped 14 shots.
