Amateur Hockey Department Mini 1 on 1 Challenge Colorado Avalanche

The Mini 1-on-1 Challenge is back and the Colorado Avalanche has five more open qualifier opportunities.
The next qualifier at Pepsi Center will take place on Dec. 2, and registration for that date will also include tickets to the Rocky Mountain Center Ice Showdown between CU and CSU.

The Mini 1-on-1 Challenge is a shootout-style competition where all players will compete individually to become the top shooter or goalie in their respective age divisions.
The age divisions include U8, U10, U12 and U14. The winners of each age group will receive an Avalanche signed item, an Avs jersey and nameplate, four lower-level tickets to the game on Jan. 2 versus the San Jose Sharks and will participate in the shootout showcase during an intermission in that contest.
The winners of the U10 division are part of the NHL All-Star package, which includes a trip to the NHL All-Star Game in San Jose to represent the Avalanche in a NHL U10 shootout competition. Accommodations will be provided for each player and one parent, including tickets to the All-Star Game.
The final qualifier is on Dec. 18 at Budweiser Events Center in Loveland. The semifinal and final rounds will take place on Dec. 27 at Pepsi Center.
