Collins scores pair including OT winner as Bruins edge Medicine Hat 5-4 @NHLdotcom

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Chris Collins scored his second goal of the game three minutes and 53 seconds into overtime to help the Chilliwack Bruins salvage a 5-4 victory over the Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday night in the Western Hockey League.

Chilliwack (2-5-0) held 3-2 and 4-3 leads before Taylor Gal scored for the Tigers early in the third to knot the game at 4-4.

Collins also assisted on Ryan Howse's goal, while Shayne Neigum and Jeff Einhorn added goals for the Bruins.

Zdenek Okal, Wacey Hamilton and Cole Grbavac replied for Medicine Hat (3-1-4).

Mark Friesen made 26 saves for Chilliwack, while Tigers netminder Tyler Bunz stopped 23 shots.
