PORTLAND, Ore. - Colin Reddin scored the deciding goal in the shootout to as the Portland Winter Hawks downed the Chilliwack Bruins 2-1 in Western Hockey League action on Tuesday night.
Kevin Sundher opened the scoring 15:33 into the match for Chilliwack (15-42-2-5). Radim Valchar scored on the power play midway through the second period for Portland (16-41-2-2). The shootout went four rounds, with Brandon Manning scoring for the Bruins, while Luke Walker and Reddin replied for the Hawks.
Bruins goalie Lucas Gore made 36 saves, with Ian Curtis stopping 24 shots for Portland.
