Colin Long scores two goals, Kelowna defeats Everett 4-2 @NHLdotcom

KELOWNA, B.C. - Colin Long scored two goals and the Kelowna Rockets defeated the Everett Silvertips 4-2 in WHL action on Wednesday.

Defenceman Tyler Myers, just returned to the Rockets by the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday, and Lucas Bloodoff, with an empty-net goal, also scored for Kelowna (3-2-0-0). Rookie forwards Ryan White and Kellan Tochkin, with their first WHL goals, replied for Everett (2-2-1-0).

Kris Lazaruk made 24 saves for the Rockets, who trailed 1-0 after the first period but led 2-1 after two, while Shayne Barrie turned aside 23 shots for the Silvertips.
